Any sensible justification for using oil tell now ? Green energy is safer,cheaper,renewable and available ?

All these alternative sources and we are still sticking to oil and nuclear ? Do we humans love wars or what ? My country -egypt- have lots of gas and oil but still i think we should only use oil for plastic production (then recycle plastic) we have the solar energy , air . . . My favourite is bio energy by destructing agricultural waste (mostly cellulose) to glucose then alcohol and viola ! Fuel and its remnants will be fertilizers . . . Or generate electrecity from garbage seriously we should start thinking and dont let oil & weapons companies use and direct us ! Coz only us loss and only they win any one agree ?
