Historical Critical Approach to Fahrenheit 451?

Cute but not what Bradbury was aiming at. He was concerned about Joe McCarthy, McCarthyism, and a rising tide of both ignorance and censorship in America. Bradbury is still alive and alert. Why not track him down through his website (I know he lives in southern California) and ask him directly?
