Why do humans have a drive for meaning?

The drive for meaning is a drive to seek God. It is the drive to express who you really are. Unlike animals we have been given the gift of free will and a capacity to choose who we are and what we will become. So this drive is holy and keeps us forever seeking the light. So no matter how hard things might get, remember that you are never alone and you are never apart from God.
